Star
is the first chinchilla that I got out of the six I now have. She is a
standard grey chinchilla. Before I got her, I was very depressed and
decided to get myself an animal to see if that would help, as I know
others have said their pets helped them recover from depression. When I
went to the pet store I fell in love with two chinchillas, Star and a boy.
I got them for a really good deal, but I didn't have them very long and
the little boy passed away. Star became my pride and joy. Because of how
much I was in love with her, I was worried that she would be very sad,
because I was told she had spent she spent five years with the boy chin. I
decided to get another chinchilla to be a companion for her. I was glad
when they became friends, and I just fell in love with the new chin as
well. Star is the one who started it all, and so she will always be
special to me! She is soft, she is friendly, and she doesn't mind being
held, which I am told is unusual. I hope she lives a very long time.
