Darwin
Harris is 21 years old and is an African Spur Thigh Tortoise.
Darwin has been the love of his family, friends, and neighborhood for many
years, he has been living with his Mother Karen for the last nineteen years, and
she has had him since he was just seven pounds.
Darwin, at his last vet appointment in 2012, now weighs a Whopping 119
pounds, and is still growing more and more every day. Darwin is very spoiled.
He has his own home, complete, with heat, and electricity, and resides in
Parkville Md in his home, with a white Picket fence. Every Tortoise's
dream home! Darwin is quite an eater, and he loves his Romaine lettuce,
which costs enough to feed a small army. Darwin eats three trays of veggies a
day, and loves to get out for a walk to eat some clover. Darwin loves to
snack on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, just as any growing boy would.
Darwin is only 21 years old now, but can live to be 200, and grow to be
200 pounds. Darwin is the hit of every party and event he attends. Darwin
loves going to Maryland SPCA walks, along with many other events he is
invited too. Darwin is sure to win the hearts of everyone. He even has his own Facebook page.
