Teddy
is a speckled golden argente and is one of my
five gerbils. Teddy had a brother named Lenny but sadly Lenny had to be put to
sleep due to organ failure at the age of four months. Teddy is now seven months and
striding through life. He is waiting at the top of his cage for me at two
o'clock every day for when I get in. Teddy requires a bit more attention
than his brothers because of the loss of his brother. Teddy runs in his
playpen for an hour in the afternoon, then he returns to his cage for his
dinner and then after all his brothers have had their own playtime he come
out again for a little while before bed.
Teddy's favorite treats are oats and sunflower seeds. Teddy eats gerri
gerbil mixture for his meals, he enjoys this very much. Teddy loves to be
held in cupped hands so that he can see everything he is extremely nosey and
I love him very much. He's a Star!
