This
is Figaro, he is a year old English Angora Rabbit, he just had his first
birthday! English Angoras are wonderful bunnies who have very gentle, mellow,
laid back and sweet personalities. Bred for centuries as a fiber animal.
However, Angora rabbits are not for everyone due to extra amount of time
spend grooming and care.
What make Figaro special is that he is a super smart bunny, and very social.
He loves people and not afraid to climb on you to say hi! He likes walking on
leash and enjoy going out for a long walk..He has a very unique personality
unlike the usual English Angora..He knows his name, and comes when you call
him (especially if you have a piece of apple in your hand (his favorite treat).
He requires a lot of work and since he knows that he is well loved, he can be
very naughty too at times! Although he doesn't mind about leash and harness,
he hates grooming. He will tolerate and sit while you grooming or brushing
him but it will turns in to a World War III the moment I tried to flip him on
his back and clean up his fur around his tummy. I am a bit lucky because I
have friends at bunny rescues and they helped with grooming He requires time
and extra attention with all that fur, so it doesn't get tangled or
uncomfortable, but he's worth it and I love him very much!
