This
is Mojo, a male conure. When we got Mojo we weren't looking to get a
bird, but my sister bought him from someone and found him to be a handful,
but I fell in love with him and said, "I'll take him home." Unfortunately
we don't know how old he is because the previous owner didn't know, but we
know he's still in his early years.
Mojo is special because he loves cuddles. He will spend hours down your
shirt or cuddle under a blanket with you, and regurgitate on you to show his love.
He love showers. He'll fly into the shower with you whilst your showering
and ruffle his feathers. He also gives kisses to us, and loves to try any
food that we are eating, and if he doesn't get some he'll throw a tantrum.
Mojo is very intelligent, and knows how to get what he wants, like being
very clingy and screaming when we leave the room. He also gets very
excited when one of us comes home, flying to the front door to greet us.
He likes to keep us well maintained, by grooming our eyes and sometimes
ears and he tries to go for the nose too. He is out of his cages almost
all the time when we are home, he only goes back in when we are eating our
tea, because he tries to steal it.
We love him so much and couldn't imagine not coming home to the sound of
him screaming waiting to come out of his cage.
