This
is Lu Bu. He is a Cockatiel and is about four or five. What makes him special,
besides me naming him after a video game character, is he is very loving, but
isn't a people person. He can't sing or talk, but he's a good boy regardless
of what he can or cannot do. He loves opera and listens to Lady Gaga. Lu Bu
is the main object I take any pictures of, and he loves it.
Lu Bu is my only bird right now, but I hope to get another little friend for
him. For now he has the cat. He was bought at a bird show by my mother, but
he wasn't a happy bird. The handler didn't know how to properly take care of
him, which caused him to be aggressive and bite pretty hard. After a week, my
eldest sister couldn't handle him.
I received Lu Bu after I was playing one of my favorite video games, Dynasty
Warriors. At that time, the character Lu Bu came onto the screen. The
character is known to be aggressive, thus I named my bird after this character.
Lu Bu now isn't as mean as he once was. He's a lot nicer, though he runs away
from people instead of biting. I'm currently trying to teach him a few songs
to sing or to talk a little, but Lu Bu is a little lazy with learning. I may
not have had him since birth, but I know I'll keep him with me always. I love him.
