Cheeky
is special, because she is a chinchilla that I rescued from a woman
that just didn't want her anymore. She was not used to being handled, or
having much room to roam around in; but we dedicated endless hours to
touching her, hand feeding her and getting her to become more comfortable
with us. Cheeky adapted to our home really well over the last year and a
half and about nine months ago we began to house her with a male chinchilla,
his name is Charlie.
This morning Cheeky gave birth to two beautiful kits. Cheeky has overcome
odds and become a loving part of our family and now has a small family of
her own! The third picture is Cheeky with her husband Charlie. He's the
one underneath the shelf. We love Cheeky and are very proud of her for all
she has been through and the happy chinchilla she is today!
