Cinnabun
was already two years old when she was adopted from a rabbit
rescue. She immediately won us over with her cuteness, sweet disposition,
and desire to snuggle people. She loves hopping around the house and
rushes to the cat food dish (if we haven't remembered to pick it up) since
she (oddly) loves cat food. Her favorite food is cilantro, and apple twigs
are a special treat.
Cinnabun also is very loving and will snuggle for over an hour. She loves
giving bunny kisses and she "purrs" when happy by grinding her teeth to
the delight everyone who holds her. She even went over to welcome the new
family who moved in which delighted the 3-year-old boy who got to hold
her, pet her, and hold her leash as she hopped around their yard.
Cinnabun is in training to be a therapy bunny for Bunnies in Baskets. She
will visit the nursing home to see the residents and spread some bunny
love. She will let anyone hold, pet, and love her - even young children.
She got a pet stroller for her excursions as a therapy bunny. It is
wonderful that Cinnabun's natural desire to have people love and cuddle
her will bring comfort to people who are confined to the nursing home -
especially since in some cases, Cinnabun is the only visitor that some
people have.
