name is Jumanji. I am a male Marmoset that lives in Orlando, Florida.
My dad purchased me when I was less than a month old. Yes, he had to get a
special permit so I could come home with him, so he did. I love to jump
and play at every chance possible. When someone looks strangely at me, I
simply turn my head to the side and make him realize that I think he looks
strange. Sometimes I nibble, but then my dad punishes me.
I love to travel and see all different types of things. If I go to my
dad's work, I am always the center of attention (as it should be). My
sister Berelis (a cat) plays with me, but my dad has to keep an eye on
things because she can play too rough, sometimes. I love everyone, unless

Jumanji has a very playful personality; however, he is stubborn and has to
have his way most of the time. He is also very curious, and sticks
everything in his mouth. When told to get in his cage or crate, though, he
always listens. He loves to play peek-a-boo. At times, he can be very
affectionate. He will just lay in one's lap and let you pick through his
hair, or groom him. He loves to give kisses, too. He isn't difficult to
care for; however, he does require much attention. He hates spending too
much time alone. As far as what he eats, I have him on a insect eater diet
and marmoset formula, but he loves treats: meal worms, live wax worms,
crickets, grapes, and his favorite, bananas. I give him cooked meat and
To own a marmoset in Florida, you must obtain permitting from the Florida
Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. To receive the permit, one must
fill out a questionnaire pertaining to marmosets, and must provide the
name and license number of the monkey farm that you intend to purchase the
marmoset. All primates purchased in Florida must be bought from a licensed
farm. I work in a small investigative office that allows the employees to
work independently. My office loves it when I bring Jumanji to work
because he loves the attention and wants to play with everyone.
