This
is my new chinchilla Fluffy. We got her November 14th. We got her from
another military family (we're military family as well) that were moving
and didn't want to take her on the long journey, so we took her in. She
loves her double level Ferret Nation cage along with her fleece tube. She
loves to chow down on Timothy Hay. She is new to the proper way being
taking care of a chinchilla. And so far doesn't seem to mind it. We haven't
given her any treats yet, just with her being seven months we want to wait
until she's a little older. She has her crazy spells where she'll run
around like a mad woman inside her cage. She loves receiving scritches and
being petted.
Fluffy is special to me, because I've wanted a chinchilla for the past five
years. But didn't know anything about them. Then I found the perfect forum
for all her information, Chins & Hedgies.
I researched and researched. And I knew that when I saw her that she was
meant to be my chinnie all along. The first time she saw me she tickled me
with her whiskers and licked my finger. And that was it, she's now mine!
