Day is a White-eyed Conure Parrot, and he's a yougster at three years old.
Rio is proof that birds are wonderful companion animals - as much as any
other kind of pet. And in fact, unlike dogs or cats, he even speaks
"English" as well as makes happy parrot noises. He tells you he loves you,
tells you when he 'wants some' of whatever you're eating, loves to play
peek-a-boo - he's even potty-trained! He is a cheerful loving presence and
brightens every day, just by being Rio! (And yes, he had his name long
before the movie came out!)
