This
is Jackson, he is four years old, and 16.2 hands high. Jackson is really
special to me. My trainer was his exercise rider at the racetrack and when
his owners retired him, Jackson came to the farm that my trainer manages. I
was looking for a horse at the time and rode him several times. I thought he
was cute and had nice forward movement, but what really got to me was the
kindness in his eyes. He gave me "that look" one night as if to say, "I
choose you!" that melted my heart, and I knew then that was the one for me.
He's got a really good attitude and he always tries his best to do what is
asked of him, even though he becomes frazzled pretty easily. He's a love-bug
and so spoiled (in a good way... he'll do anything for a peppermint). I am
so blessed to have him in my life and look forward to being his permanent home.
