I
got Scarlett as a birthday present from my boyfriend about a year ago. I
had just gotten into snakes and when I saw the gorgeous colors on these
Boas, I knew had to get one. Brazilian Rainbow Boas (Epicrates Cenchria
Cenchria) are known to be nippy and have a bit of an attitude when they
are young, but she was the sweetest snake ever from the moment we met. She
acted like she was more of a ball python in terms of temperament.
She's very curious and sweet and doesn't mind me holding her for long
periods of time. They are called Rainbow Boas because as you can see in
some of the pictures, when the light hits them a certain way, their scales
give off a rainbow sheen which makes her even more beautiful, although I
love her so much she is beautiful to me no matter what.
