This
is Luna. She is a six-year-old Australian lizard and I like her very
much. Luna lives in a big terrarium in our living room close to the
radiator. After the light in her terrarium turns on, Luna gets up and
looks around. Because Luna comes from Australia, she needs the heat and
sun. She is very active in summer when we take her out of her terrarium.
If we bring home her favorite food, grasshoppers, Luna comes close to
the front of her terrarium.
After we feed her with grasshoppers, she runs around the whole terrarium
and eats all of them in a few minutes. But Luna likes salad as well. As
a lizard, Luna sheds her skin when she grows. Because the old skin has
the exact details of Luna, we collect it often. I like Luna a lot as she
is a female lizard and these are very uncommon.
