This
is my amazing horse, Oliver. He's so special because there's no horse
like this one. He's a small goof ball that got abused a while back, before I
had him. Oliver came to Alafina (the stable I rode at) as a skittish little
guy that didn't know anything. My trainer and I trained him to become an
amazing hunter jumper and an amazing companion for me. Oliver is trusting,
and he wouldn't do anything to hurt me, or anyone else. When Oliver came he
barely knew how to jump and then at our last horse show together he got a
third place out of over 30 riders, cantering a two foot course. I was so proud
of him and when I'm sad, going to see oliver makes me so happy! If you knew
this goof ball like I do, then you would love him more than anything just
like I do! He's the best! I love horses and riding and I love Oliver!
Oliver is such a goof ball because when you jump him, over the jumps he
"smiles", he lifts up hi lip and shows his teeth, and when you come down to
the pasture with his favorite treat (popsicles) he starts whinnying and
"smiling!" Oliver is super clumsy and silly. It's amazing how Oliver is such
a gentle, kind, and silly horse because of the way he was treated before, I'm
proud of my boy! And whenever I go down to his pasture he always sticks his
head up and "smiles," Oliver is very smart, I had a jar of treats and Oliver
opened it by continuously using his lip to twist the cap off. He also figured
out how to escape the cross ties when I'm washing him. Oliver is the best
little horse I've ever met, I just love him! And Oliver isn't the horse that
likes to be clean, so he rolls right after I bathe him! And also one time,
we were at a horse show and one of the jumps had flowers around it, and
Oliver ate the flowers! He's very curious, but brave. I do all kinds of
silly "tricks" with him like riding him backwards, and laying on him, just
silly stuff and Oliver doesn't mind at all. He's an amazing spirit and if I
would of never been with him, my life wouldn't be half as amazing as it is
with him in it.
