These
are my ducks, and that's Seuss proudly leading the way! He is a Rouen
duck, and his friends are another Rouen and a buff named Serina - he's a
male but we didn't know that when we named them as ducklings. Samas is the
third in the parade and she's a female, and the shy one, so she depends on
Seuss to lead them.
My ducks are the sweetest animals in the world. They are trained to stay on
our lake. They come to a certain call, and they follow me around. I love my
ducks very much. I have had them since they were two weeks old, and now
they are three years old. When I swim in the water they follow me around.
They love worms to eat as a treat.
Seuss is the one who comes and does whatever he wants. Serina is the
attention grabber, but he still lets Seuss be boss duck. It is really fun
to watch them play in the water. I believe their favorite season is summer,
because I spend a lot of time with them then. I love my ducks so much,
because they make me smile every day!
