Star's
Best is now eleven years old, and she is a lovely Thoroughbred
horse. She is an ex-racehorse who had a rocky bad life until I bought her.
She is now a greatly loved and improved horse, and her real personality is
shining through. By this I mean she is very smart - so smart she gets into
a lot of trouble. She is also the barn busybody, she has to know
everything that is going on, at all times. She earned many ribbons in
shows this year after recovering from her abuse. She is good with
children, too, and treats them better, sometimes, than she does me, but
that's okay! That's just her inner cheekiness coming out, which secretly
makes me glad, after all she went through before. We love her.
