Hi
ya! Arwen is a baby alpaca, about 3.5 months old in this picture. Her
name is Arwen, after the Tolkien elf, and I helped deliver her here in the
Santa Cruz Mountains. She is smart, inquisitive and so cute you turn into
a puddle. :) We raise alpacas for their fleece, and she is already so
fuzzy and cute, we look forward to seeing her grow up! She is very special
to me, since I have known her since the moment she was born. And yes,
those really are her real eyelashes, movie stars have nothin' on her! She
bats those lashes at you and looks at you with those big brown eyes, and
you instantly forgive her anything! Even nibbling on your sleeve!
