My
pet is Declan, and he is a six-month-old Ambilobe Panther Chameleon. He live
with me in from Los Angeles, CA, though his species is originally from
Madagascar, he was born and raised here in the US.
He loves to be held, and I take him all around the house. He stays with me
while I'm doing my homework. If he gets mad he will puff up and get darker.
As panther chameleons get older their colors become more and more vibrant,
and for his age he has really well developed colors. I thought of the idea of
getting him because my friend has many reptiles including chameleons and I got
interested in them. I bought him at a reptile expo and did research on how to
care care of him before I got him. He is an awesome pet!
