This
is Lou, he is just over seven years of age and lives with us in
Billings, Montana. Lou is a special old man. Right now his belly is shaved
bare, that's because he had an ultrasound for his tummy and also his heart.
Seven is old for a ferret and with the age more issues have come up with him.
He has adrenal disease and gets a meletonin implant to calm the hormones and
he also takes Predisolone for insulinoma and Lasix for his heart. He used to
play and run about all the time, and was a very active boy, but old age has
slowed him down some. He is happy to have his bowls of soupie made with his
favorite kibble, and to sleep most of the day away, and he is my kisser. We
love our old Lou.
