This
is Tillie and she now belongs to Joe and Darlene W. She is ten weeks old
and is a miniature potbelly pig. I am one of the breeders that worked with
Tillie until she was old enough to be shipped to her new parents. As you can
see by the picture, she is quite a ham (no pun intended). Darlene and Joe
tell me that she is a "daddy's girl" and wants to stay by his side or in his
lap the majority of the time. Both while I had her, and while she has been
with Joe and Darlene, I am left wondering if she knows she is a pig. She is
very affectionate and of course very smart. This picture was her first day
outside since she was old enough to leave her mother.
She is enjoying her new home She was shipped from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to
Bangor, Maine to her new home and is already spoiled beyond belief. I just
had to nominate Tillie. She is beautiful and full of spunk and has made a
wonderful addition to her new family. They keep in touch with me and send me
pictures every week. I have four pet potbellies myself, one of which is the
brother of Tillie. Tillie is a great little pig!
