This
is Shay, our baby Bearded Dragon. We got him at seven weeks old after
losing our previous Bearded Dragon, Rambo, who was stolen. Shay has been
an absolute charmer since day one. He's learned to lie upside down, being
totally chilled, where as many bearded dragons don't tolerate that. He's got
such a character, he know what he wants and not wants. In the evenings he just
chills inside one of the family members jumpers, or sunbaths on the
balcony. He isn't to keen on his greens, (like most kids!) but will eat his
worms with relish. At night he gets to sleep on a heated bed made specially
for him and he gets bathed with essential oils and with Mozart playing in
the background. He's frightened of my Tortoise and will retreat if he see's
an apple, but besides those two strange little phobias, he's pretty much the
king of the castle. I hope he will live a long and healthy life so we may
enjoy his company.
