I
am special because I am just me - Oz the Quaker Parrot! I love bath time - you can
probably tell that, huh? I have such fun splashing around, and I get my own me-sized
tub, too. This picture was taken for my human brother. He is overseas now. I love
talking on the phone with him when he calls home. Mom hold the phone out so I can hear
him, and I lean real close. He is overseas now, so I can continue being free here in the
Good Ol' U.S.A! That's what mom tells me, anyway. I live in Minnesota, a long way away
from where my ancestors are from in South America, but I stay inside where it is nice
and warm, so Minnesota is fine for me.
How I miss my brother. He tells me he misses me, too, though. But it is my job to keep
mom happy and take care of her. She says I make her laugh and especially at bath time -
she sometimes think it's magic the way there can seem to be more water on the table
after my bath than was in the "tub" to begin with. What can I say? I like being out of
my cage every day, but I go back in too, that's where my toys are, and also where I
perch and sleep.
Love, Oz
