Paris,
full name Paris Traction, is a twelve-year-old bay Standardbred mare. She was
born in PEI and spent most of her racing career in Sydney, Nova Scotia. I've had
her for eight years and stopped racing her four years ago. She paced her fastest
mile in 2:01.2. She has very impressive bloodlines and I've had several people
want to buy her as a brood mare. But I would never part with my angel!
Paris is a very spirited horse with lots of personality. I am now training her
in English and we're starting to do some jumping. Because she was bred to pace,
we have a lot of training ahead of us. Paris is the love of my life and we're
inseparable. The two of us now reside in New Brunswick, where she is very happy
with her new barn friends.
