Uncle Buck, the Pet of the Day
Name: Uncle Buck
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Kind: New Zealand White rabbit
Home: Newport, Ohio, USA

Uncle Buck is our pure white New Zealand White rabbit, with pink eyes. We are not sure of his age, so we just tell everyone he's our senior buck (male rabbits are bucks, females are does), and that's how he got his name, too. He's also named after "Uncle Buck" the movie, as he's a pretty large boy. But don't let his size fool you, he's not like some rabbits you meet at shows.

Uncle Buck is special because he is gentle with children, they can hold him or pet him and he lets them. He is gentle natured and sweet. Even the youngest children, who still need to learn what "gentle" means, can pet Uncle Buck, and he has never nipped even one of them even if they tug on an ear. This makes him a very rare and very special rabbit to us, and we all love him!
