I
have dreamed and wanted to have a Black Eyed White baby boy for over
five years. I fell in love with him long before he was born and I met him.
He was a dream I had deeply longed for and desired. One I thought would
never become a reality.
His infectious and amazing personality all compacted in a 55 gram little
body was full of lots of bruxes and boggles at an incredibly young age of
just four weeks. His big black eyes stared up at me lovingly and his soft
white fur pressed up against the back of my neck while he nestled up
against me. His small white paws wrapped tightly around my fingers as if
to say "I love you".
I had Alchemy for just two days. The most wonderful two days of my life.
He made the most lasting impression. He made me feel more loved in those
two days then I had felt in years. I never thought I could ever fall in
love again.
On the day of March 18, 2010 Alchemy was born. My dream came true. My
miracle boy was here. But at just four weeks of age his short life came to
an end. Alchemy passed away on April 16, 2010.
As he laid his head in my hands his little spirit joined my many other
lost souls at the bridge. I kissed him one last time holding onto the hope
that one day our souls will be reunited.
Alchemy is incredibly special to me and will forever remain a cherished
memory deep within my heart. Alchemy will live on in his three brothers
that currently reside with me and my other seventeen rats. Raydar,
Maverick & JigSaw are my little angels that I feel lucky to have in my
life. He may no longer be physically alive, but he lives on in his
brothers.
