The
name of my pet is Jony, and he is a lizard. His body is about 8 cm and its
tail 7 cm long - so his tail is almost as long as the whole rest of him. He
has four short legs, but when he wants to run, he is very fast, it surprises
people. Sometimes it is brown and sometimes it is green, and even his legs
change color, not just his back. It is a chameleon, and I think it is very
interesting to watch, especially when he changes colors. It eats fruits and
insects.
My lizard lives in a terrarium and it likes warm temperatures. So it only gets
to go outside when it is very warm out, and I always watch when he is in the
garden as I do not want a bird to get him. At night it sleeps under stones in
his terrarium. Now it is about two years old, so I do not think he will get much
bigger. He is a good pet to have.
