Cadbury
is one of my four rabbits, and her coloring is called Broken Opal.
Spice (my rabbit, who is Cadbury's Mother) gave birth to Cadbury first, she
had Cadbury ten hours before the rest of the litter. I was very worried
Cadbury might not make it, as I saw her being born - the problem was, she
was born in the outside run of the hutch instead of the nest. We carefully
moved Cadbury to the nest with a glove on, and I noticed Spice wouldn't
feed her so with some help I held Spice and my mom held Cadbury up to
Spice, and Cadbury nursed. After the other bunnies were born everything
went smoothly.
Cadbury grew to be a big girl, and she still isn't full grown, and she acts
so much like her Mom, Spice, did when she was younger. Cadbury is has been
hard to train and is still being trained, she is great with the litterbox,
but she has a bit of a biting problem just like Spice did. She is starting
to calm down now that she is getting through that teenage stage. Cadbury is
very piggy, and she stopped nursing at ten weeks old in favor of other food.
She loves to come up on my lap while I'm eating Mr. Noodles and she'll
steal some. It's not a veggie, so can't be too good for her, but a little
bit won't hurt. And as you can see, she loves taking apart the edges of
towels, that fringe is just begging to be tugged, I guess! At least she
doesn't eat that, just likes taking it apart, leaving little string
everywhere. Cadbury is a special bunny just like all of my bunnies!
