Dasheris
nine years old, and he is my floppy-earred rabbit boy. He lives
in Baltimore, Maryland, and likes to hop around the garden in the summer.
I put him up on the chair to get a good picture of him, otherwise he is
always moving and the pictures are blurry. He was still for one picture,
then said "enough!" and jumped down to go chew on some sticks. Unlike his
reindeer name, he does not like snow. He only likes being outside when it
is warm.
I got him on Christmas and that's why his name is Dasher. That is also why
he is very special to me - how many Christmas presents keep you happy for
nine years? But Dasher is so cute, and I love his soft floppy ears. He has
amazing long whiskers, and they tickle my face when I hold him, or when I
get down on the floor to play at his level and he hops over so we are
nose-to-nose. Dasher is my friend.
