is an Abyssinian guinea pig,
which is hy he has such wild fur. He got his name for his black markings on
top of his head, otherwise he has all white fur. He is special because he is
so friendly! Sooty loves being cuddled and stroked as much as possible. Even
when we give him a bath, he loves it and purrs and purrs instead of jumping
out and getting me soaking wet like all my other guinea pigs do! Don't worry,
Sooty was not being squashed at all in his picture, he was happily sitting
on my lap, very sleepy!
Sooty actually went to live with two of his sisters for a while, but now he
has moved back in with us and lives happily with his mother. He still loves
being cuddled and petted. Sooty loves having a bath, and he likes to swim in
his baths, which is quite unusual for a guinea pig! He loves eating spring
greens and broccoli.
I think Sooty is one of the most special guinea pigs in the world!
He is friendly and affectionate and a very good pig.
