This
is Mirage, she is a Nigerian dairy goat. She is still a baby. Her mom
looks a lot like her. She lives with her mom and her aunt. She enjoys stealing
food from me when I go to feed our horses and sleeping in the shade while her aunt
is in the sun and her mom is by her side. She love where she lives because she
gets to eat all day and run and play. She is very playful when it comes to
shows, she gets all the attention just because she is so cute and so adorable!
She decided she didn't want to do the tire obstacle in that one picture, she
just wanted to pose on top in one spot, silly girl. She can be quite stubborn
when she feels like it, as I guess you can tell.
Her favorite thing too do is pester the dogs by trying to head butt them. Keep
in mind she is about half the size of our dogs, and you can see why it makes
us laugh when she does that! Mirage has a very loving family consisting of seven
horsey friends, some exotic chickens, a couple turkeys that are very slow and
tortuous in their speed compared to her, and her best buds the dogs. Mirage
always manages to get into mischief whether helping herself to a midnight
snack or climbing on top of everything.
Though she only stands about fourteen inches above the ground she considers herself
the queen of the world.
