Cockie
- the Cockatiel is our homeschool bird. He keeps us company while we
do our work, and is a good distraction when we're studying sometimes! He eats
the eraser off our pencils and the corners off our homework pages. Occasionally,
he also eats the corners off pages in our school books. He joined our family on
Christmas day two years ago. He is very tame. Cock-ie loves to sit on our
shoulders and share our meals, but he hates when we try to pet him. So he likes
to be touching us, and will even groom our hair, but does like when we touch
him, silly bird! But still, we think he is very handsome, and our friend.
