I
want to introduce you to my teddy bear hamster, Hamtaro. I named him after
the Japanese hamster TV show "Hamtaro" since he has the same coloring. I got
him at Petco in Lake Elsinore, CA on the 4th of July - Independence Day! He
is only four months old. His fur is so soft and fluffy. It grows so fast! We
have had to give him a few haircuts already. When he walks, you don't even
see his feet because he is so fluffy.
I have had other kinds of hamsters and he is my first teddy bear. His
temperament is so calm and sweet. He sits in my lap like a little kitten. He
is so nice! He isn't fussy with food and his favorite treats are Yogies and
sunflower seeds. His favorite veggie is little grape tomatoes.
Hamtaro loves to go on adventures outside. He loves to run in the grass.
When I return him to his cage he goes crazy on his wheel! He loves to sleep
in his blue castle house. I love Hamtaro and already can't imagine my life
without him!
