This
is my baby Mel. I've had him for about a month and he's just amazing. He
loves eating his mealworms and running around in the grass. He's very smart
also, and has already taught himself to use his litterbox! Mel will just hang
out with me at the computer or while I watch tv, he's happy sleeping in his
blankie.
Mel loves to run around and explore. He is shy of new people at first, but
once he gets used to you, he will unball and run around. His favorite toy is a
toilet paper tube. Mel isn't really the affectionate type, but he will burrow
into your shirt, pants, or arms, and he will sleep sprawled out on my neck. He
is my first hedgehog and I have been wanting one forever, but I just had to
find a breeder that I trusted. I love the little guy! He needs his litterbox
cleaned daily, and his fleece liner in his cage changed weekly, so he's a lot
of work, but he's definitely worth it!
