When
I adopted a male rabbit, Topaz, (named for his beautiful coat color) from
a litter that my friend's rabbit had, bonding started from day one. Two years
later, we are inseparable buddies. He is litter-trained and lives in my
bedroom with bunny beds and lots of fun toys. When I get out of bed, he runs
around in circles and does little jumps because he's so excited to get a good
morning rub under his chin. He loves to go for walks outside with a collar or
harness and a mini Flexi leash. When you need a snuggle buddy while you're
watching TV he's the perfect little guy.
Topaz is special because he loves meeting new people and performing tricks
for them while he wears his cute little bandanna, of course. He'll do just
about anything for a Yogie rabbit treat... even walk on his back feet! Topaz
never fails to make you laugh with his silly antics. One funny thing he does
is sleep with his belly up. When he does something naughty (like chew the
zipper off your favorite coat or shred one of your books) you can't stay mad
at him long because his cuteness wins you over. Topaz brings so much joy into
my life and I'm so thankful to have such a great little companion.
