I
got Hades about a year ago for my boyfriend and she is the sweetest
snake that you can have. We got her when she was not even a foot long, and
now she is 3.5-4 feet. She loves to be held all the time. It is hard to have
a snake up here in Alaska, but she is beautiful in every way. Bull snakes
look like rattle snake and even act like them in many ways. She is still a
baby and is supposed to be up to six feet long when full grown. Now that is
big!
We have had a rough time with her in the winter time here in Alaska. We
have actually had to bring her back to life about three times and that
scared me so bad, but she came back and we love and care for her even
more. Hades usually just lies on her rock, but when she gets bored, she
tries to push the screen on her tank so she can run loose. When we first
got her, she escaped from her cage and we could not find her for about
three days but we found her by our microwave she was trying to find heat.
Silly snake, doesn't she know there's a reason she's got a nice warm tank
to keep her safe? We love her, even if she is naughty sometimes.
