||One year old|
meet our sweet little friend, Harry. He lives at a home-based nursery
school. What makes him special is his happy-go-lucky personality. He loves the
children that attend here each day, and is very gentle with them. His cage is
in the craft area and he loves to watch the children paint at the easel. His
cage door remains open for much of the day and he is able to jump out when he
pleases (which is often). He loves being in the middle of the action, whether
it's a wood block castle being built, or books being read. Whatever is
happening, Harry is there.
Many of the children that attend here do not have pets at home, so Harry
serves as a very special friend indeed, providing the opportunity for these
children to learn about pet care, and the enjoyment of having a wee furry
At the end of the day, Harry loves to run full speed around the empty
playroom, checking out the toys, and finally flopping down for some
one-on-one attention cuddling up with me.
