Blackberry
is special because I rescued her from a home where the owner
had grown tired of her. Blackberry wasn't being properly cared for
anymore, so I was glad to take her and give her a good home. She is a very
sweet and beautiful guinea pig. She has just had a hair cut in this
picture. She is a Peruvian Guinea Pig and her hair will drag on the ground
and can get tangled if not cut, as she does not like to be brushed much.
When I clean her cage, she will purr when I put her back in, it is like
she is saying "thank you." She will purr when she gets lettuce in the
mornings too. She loves hand-picked grass/clover, dandelions, cilantro,
carrots, celery, and apples. I feel blessed to have her as part of my family.
