Amanda
is a great chicken. She is one of the many chickens that I have raised
from chicks. I love her because she is very nice and she gives me an egg every
day. She is very special to me. She is one of the most beautiful chickens that
I've ever had. She absolutely loves to eat. She likes to eat bread, corn, bugs
and chicken feed of course. She is really nice to have around to eat all of the
bugs!
Amanda had a near death experience before when our neighbor's husky escaped
and jumped our fence. It grabbed Amanda in its mouth and carried her around
until I scared the dog off. When it dropped her and she just went running to
her chicken coop scared to death. She is fine now and she didn't have any
injuries, she was just really scared. Those beautiful thick feathers saved her
from injury! I love Amanda and my other chickens and all the other pets I
have. I just love Amanda and I think that chickens make great pets.
