Herr
Mobius is a wonderful hamster and is actually a class pet. Our
German teacher often mentioned two hamsters, Hansel and Gertal, that she
had in her room years ago. We could tell she missed having a class pet,
so the German 5 class got together and secretly went and picked out Herr
Mobius as a surprise for her. She loves him! Herr Mobius is delightful
and brings a smile to all the students' and teachers' faces. He often
sleeps during the day, but when he wakes up, we all watch him as he goes
about his business, grooming himself or drinking water. Sometimes our
teacher allows us to put him in his ball and run around the classroom.
Herr Mobius is truly a delight. I don't know how we got through class
before he came. He is now our 'mascot' and we always touch his cage for
luck before tests. He is absolutely wonderful and has lightened the
atmosphere with his cute antics and lively personality!
