My
name is Luke, and I am eight years old. This is my gerbil Zoey, isn't she
pretty with her dark eyes and shiny fur? And I think her little white front
paw is very cute on a black gerbil. I think she is very pretty. I have two
gerbils, Marley is white and Zoey is dark, so it is easy to tell them apart.
They are both girls, so that is good they can be friends.
They are really special to me. They are fun to play with and watch. I love
them very much. I have had them for eight months. I feed them and help clean their
cage each week. They have a little hut they like to hide in, and Zoey likes to
run on the wheel a lot. She can go so fast you cannot even see her feet!
Zoey's whiskers are very long and they tickle when I am holding her in my
hand. I love Zoey - and Marley, too.
