Chula
is my beautiful spotless red dun Appaloosa mare. Yes, she is an
Appaloosa, despite the lack of customary spots! She is 15.3hh and is
twelve years old as of April 17! We show together in 4-H and small open
shows. We show english and western, and we also do gymkhana, like barrel
racing and stuff. Chula's registered name is Chula's Bright Gold, that's
how they announce her name on the loudspeaker at the shows. I have had
Chula for about three years now, and she is my first horse. She's been a
blast! She is definitely my dream horse, the perfect one for me.
Chula is very silly. I guess you can tell that in her pictures. I was
trying to get a pretty picture of her, but she had to show off! Now, these
pictures make me laugh every time I look at them. She likes to stick her
tongue out and lick my hand. She is very ornery, too... when someone else
gets on her besides me, she'll try and buck and rear them off, but her
bucking is pretty smooth, so it's a fun little ride. We have a strong bond
in the time we've known each other, and I'm sure it will continue to
strengthen as the years go by.
