This
is Tazo, the most adorable little hamster you'll ever see. Why is this?
Because he is cheerful, intelligent, sweet and the best attribute any pet has
: being absolutely adorable! Tazo was adopted into our family on July 29th,
2008 (he was still pink when we got him) so his birthday is only a week or so
away! He got his name from a Starbucks drink, actually. We were playing with
him while drinking a Starbucks' Tazo tea, and he stumbled over to it. We
thought - why not?
You can tell that Tazo is very fit and healthy, as he runs in his wheel very
often, loves his exercise ball, and eats only select healthy foods. I even
offered him a lick of peanut butter - and he rejected it! On the other hand,
though, his favorite foods are fresh apples, baby carrots cut into small
slices, Little Friends Hamster Bites and the once in a while, a luxurious bite
or two of a triscuit cracker. We also put a billboard-like picture of him above
his bed to remind him of how special he is.
Well now you know about the most awesome, sweetest and by far cutest rodent
out there, and I hope you all love Tazo as much as I do. Remember to wish
him a happy birthday - he turns the big one July 29th!
