Mosh
(his nickname) is a really house rabbit I can leave him to run free
in the house all the day long without problems or surprises because he is
perfectly litter trained. During the day he spends a lot of time outside
in the garden and he becomes inquisitive and playful. He is also energetic
because he likes to run and to jump. Moscardo is a very sweet and adorable
rabbit. And he is at his ease with everyone, even with little babies
because even they take him up by the ears or almost poke a finger in his
eye he never reacts badly, but he simply runs away. I like to cuddle him,
in particular in winter mornings when the alarm rings I like to take him
in my bed for some minutes.
At night while I'm watching tv, he often jumps on the sofa and he starts
to walk on my body and he wants to be cuddled.
He is sensitive to the weather because when it rains or it's cloudy he
stays in a corner next to the window all the day long without playing
with us. It seems that he has the sulks but when there is a sunny day he
his plenty of energy and I can't keep him inside. In summer during the
most hot hours he generally stays lying in the grass and only at sunset he
starts to run and to jump and when it's time to get indoor I can't catch
him so I have to leave the door open till he decides to come in by himself.
Moscardo is more than ten years old and some days ago the vet has found he
has a disease which is carrying him off. I am very fond of Moscardo and I
can't imagine how it will be my life without him. He was the special
present for my birthday on 1998 and he arrived some months after the death
of my first beloved rabbit who spent all his long life with me. He is
truly an unforgettable pet rabbit.
