Ginger
is my beautiful Golden Syrian hamster. Sometimes we call her Gingee
for a nickname. She is named for her gingery color, of course. My hamster
Ginger is so special because on just the second day I had her she let me
pick her up without any fuss, and she has never bit me. People say all
hamsters bite - not Gingee!
Also she is a champion wheel runner! She can go so fast it's amazing. This
picture is of my sleepy Ginger, she was just nine weeks old in this picture,
but she looks the same - just bigger! And come on, isn't she cute! Besides
her wheel, she likes digging in her shavings to hide for her naps now, so
I loves this picture!
