Hi!
My name is Chloe, and this is my bird, Peppy. Peppy is about ten
months old. She's a parakeet. I got her on February 24th. She lives with
me in Canada and Peppy is special to me because she is my first pet ever,
and because of that, I probably never will love any other bird as much as
I love her. She is chirping to me as you read this!
This is the part of the story where I give you some tips on where to buy
birds, and what to look for. First, buy your bird from a bird breeder.
The bird is behaved much better this way. I got Peppy at a PetSmart, but
I was just a beginner then, and didn't know better. Peppy turned out
pretty well, if I do say so myself, but she won't go on anyone's finger
but mine, and she is very stubborn at night. When you look at birds, you
should look for the most active and playful bird. This way, the bird will
turn out active, and will most likely go on your finger. You should talk
to your bird for about a half an hour ( 30 minutes ) a day. Well, thanks
for reading this ... and if you look for a bird, Peppy and I wish you
good luck!
