When Buddy was little - just a baby - his mum died so we bottle fed him
so that he survived. He is pictured here on our front lawn enjoying the
spring sunshine last September - remember, our seasons are the opposite
of yours in the Northern Hempsphere. He is now old enough to graze on
his own, but during the time we were hand-feeding him, he became very
special to us. After all that worrying, and being up all hours, it is
gratifying to have a healthy, strong lamb, and to watch him grow bigger
every day! Even though he has grown so much, and is a good strong boy
now, he will always be our friend, so that's why his name is Buddy!
