Guiny
is my oldest sow, and currently the eldest of all the Winky gang.
She was probably born around the end of March in 2004. Guiny is a
smooth-haired guinea pig in black, brown and white. She's a real character
and used to be the leader of the Winky girls. Well most of her time at
least, when I just got her she was very scared, and Lotje would boss her
around. But that soon changed and Guiny grew in to a well fed somewhat
chubby pig. She never really was a people's pig, but does appreciate our
presence. She will come looking for us during floortime.
Nowadays as she is getting older she is a real cuddle pig and loves to lie
on my lap. She used to be hard to catch cause she could run very fast
(doing '8'-shaped laps) and would not go back into the cage when we let
her out. Guiny would have to be persuaded into the blue carriage (which
was actually a house/loo) and was then carried in that into the cage. This
has earned her the name 'Lady Guinyvere'.
