Hi,
this is Buc. She is six years old and is a handful! She has endless
energy, but when she finally gets tired she will fall asleep in the palm
of my hand.
She has four other lovebirds to keep her company, including another
six-year-old named Puc. Buc likes to shred anything - paper, rope, wood
toys, you name it. She's quite mischievous! You can see that she has
taken some sisal rope and has stuck it into her tail feathers. She tries
to take these fibers back to her cage, but most of the time they fall
out on the trip there!
Buc is smart - she knows how to Step up, Go home, Come here and Get down.
In the morning she will bang a bell against her cage bars until I get
out of bed to open her cage. See what I mean about being a handful! Buc
is a little bird that has a big personality. She adds so much fun to our
flock.
