Ike
was born on September 13th 2008, the day Hurricane Ike blew through
the Gulf Coast. He's 1 month old in this picture. He is a very docile and
sweet and lets us pet him as long as we want. We hope that eventually he
will enjoy being hand fed like some of our other Longhorns do. For now he
stays very close to his Mother - his food source as well as his protector
- and his "little brothers." We had five new babies that week but Ike is
my favorite, I love his color and his adorable personality.
He is growing every day, but is still a baby. We named him Ike, but hope
he doesn't cause as much trouble as the storm did! He's just a sweetheart!
